The Early Reading Together® programme consists of three 1¼ hour workshops for small groups of parents/whānau (no more than 15). The workshops are led by experienced school teachers and/or early childhood educators, and held in informal settings at times which suit the Workshop Leaders and parents involved. Librarians provide support, where possible.
A summary of the workshops:

Week 2: More ideas and ways of helping young children's language and reading development (as they get older)
Week 3: Sharing ideas, giving feedback and gathering more resources in the community library (where possible)
