May I take this opportunity to congratulate Jeanne and all
her many supporters and workers who have touched the lives
of so many New Zealanders through this amazing work. As a
former student of Jeanne's, and I am now a grandmother, she
helped to enrich our lives as we moved into the teaching
profession. It's so wonderful when the quiet humble experts
are recognised. Aroha tino nui!
