About the Author

Dr Fred Biddulph is a parent, former primary teacher, former Principal Research Officer for a three-year, government-funded Learning in Science (Primary) Project at the University of Waikato, and a former lecturer in science education at the University of Waikato.  He is also author of a New Zealand Primary Science Handbook for teachers, a co-author of 36 science booklets for primary children, and chief advisor in the development of the Sunshine Junior Science Programme.
