Reading together at Magic Kingdom Childcare

Reading together is the best way for tamariki to build vocabulary in te reo Māori and a range of languages and a valuable interaction for fostering children's oral language, social and emotional development, self-concept, and sense of belonging. Exposure to different languages helps children develop greater cultural awareness, empathy, and respect for diversity. This prepares them for a more interconnected world.
