Reading together at Ruahine School

On 25 July 2025, the following was posted on the Ruahine School Facebook page:

This week, we introduced an exciting change to our programme during assembly weeks — House Pānui! For 20 minutes, students come together in their house groups to buddy up and enjoy reading together.

This special time is all about encouraging a love of reading, while also helping to build connections and friendships across different year levels. It's been wonderful to see tuakana-teina relationships forming and students sharing their favourite stories with each other.
